The Line-Up - Roland Kemp

ROLAND KEMP

keyboards, vocals, composer

A South East London lad, he plays keyboards, sings, writes and tries to look after band business. After being 'hit' by Elvis and rock 'n' roll at age eleven he was subsequently battered/inspired by Bob Dylan, Sonny Boy Williamson, Miles Davis and Herbie Hancock, none of whom, it has to be said, ever responded to his phone calls or communiques even when alive! (actually Sonny Boy did shake Roland's hand in Bromley).

EQUIPMENT:

Roland Kemp plays a Roland VK8 via a Hughes & Kettner Tube Rotosphere into a Roland Jazz Chorus 120. Other keys include Fender Rhodes 73, Yamaha W7, Korg M1 and Moog Prodigy
